A proud member of the Intersnack Group, Estrella is one of Europe’s leading savoury snack manufacturers. Born in Gothenburg, Sweden, Estrella crisps made their debut in Finland in 1988 and were the first to introduce the popular Sour Cream & Onion flavour. In addition to chips (crisps in the UK), Estrella’s product range includes popcorn, nuts and dips.
In Finland, Estrella is a market challenger, aiming to stand out with a modern and fun brand image. Estrella also wanted to establish a unique, supportive brand presence and voice in the Finnish market.
Our collaboration began in 2020 with brand refinement, using their established slogan ‘For the joy of it’ to squeeze out even more happiness.
Since then, our partnership has grown into a multi-faceted and fruitful collaboration.
Beyond branding, we’ve worked on digital and outdoor advertising, print campaigns, TV spots, exhibition stands, in-store materials and unique packaging copy. We’ve also delved deep into Estrella’s sustainability themes and their conceptualisation.
We created an advertising concept for Finland based on Estrella's mission, anchored in the idea of what joy sounds and feels like. Joy is visceral. After all, laughter is the body’s way of releasing joy. The “Unleash the Joy” concept was brought to life through a TV spot and uplifting outdoor advertising.
Our collaboration's outcomes are a testament to the power of strategic creativity. While exact figures remain confidential, market insights from Nielsen spotlight our success story.
